爱 ài stands for love. To some, it is the true meaning of life; to others, the source of happiness; to some still, a myth. Where do we draw the line between lust, affection, admiration, and love? Or are they simply different shades on the same gradient? In the modern day and age, we are also compelled to ask, is true love still a thing? 

Here are some interesting books on love: <Poetry Pharmacy> by William Sieghart, <One Hundred Years of Solitude> by García Márquez, and <Harry Potter> by J.K. Rowling.  

Behind the「Calligraphy Series」

As one of the oldest writing systems, Chinese characters have a long history. In English, letters make up words to convey information; in Chinese though, each character has its own meaning. To capture the beauty and culture behind them, we made this series. If you are a native speaker, we hope this reminds you of home. If you don't speak the language, we hope you find peace and joy by looking at the beautiful writing. 

The calligraphy is by Mr. Ji Guo Cai (纪国才).
